Finance and Long Range Planning Committee
The Finance & Long Range Planning Committee is comprised of the following individuals:

- Ann Alker, Asst. Township Manager/Finance Director
- Albert Hertenberger
- Robert Jones
The following resolution, passed by the Board of Supervisors on 20 December 2005, created the Committee:
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF THE TOWNSHIP OF UPPER SOUTHAMPTON, COUNTY OF BUCKS, COMMONWEALTH OF PA, CREATING A FINANCE AND LONG RANGE PLANNING COMMITTEE AND ESTABLISHING ITS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES THEREOF
WHEREAS, Upper Southampton Township Board of Supervisors desires to establish a committee to review, analyze, and provide recommendations on issues of financial concern to the Township.
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Supervisors does hereby resolve the following:
- A finance and long range planning committee is hereby created to study, analyze, and provide recommendations on issues of financial and long range planning importance to the Township.
- The committee shall consist of seven members, which shall include the Upper Southampton Finance Director and six residents and/or community leaders appointed by the Board of Supervisors. The Finance Director shall be a permanent member of this committee. All other members shall serve for a period of four years, or until their successros are appointed, provided that the members of the Committee first appointed shall be appointed for varying terms as follows:
- One member shall be appointed for one year.
- Two members shall be appointed for two years.
- One member shall be appointed for three years.
- Two members shall be appointed for four years.
All members shall be qualified by education, training, or experience in matters of finance, planning, government, or related areas. Members of the Board of Sueprvisors may not serve on the Finance and Long Range Planning Committee.
- All meetings of the committee shall be open to the public and an opportunity shall be given for those in attendance to provide public comment.
- The committee shall elect from among its members at the first meeting thereof, and at the first meeting of each succeeding year, a chairman, secretary, and such other officers as the committee may deem necessary by a majority vote of all members.
- The committee shall provide written reports of its findings and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors on a periodic basis.
- Resolution 2003-22, enacted on December 16, 2003 is hereby repealed.
- This Resolution shall become effective on January 3, 2006.
